Tech Tuesday Update

Back and ready to update once again. Tampa was a great and relaxing time and being 25 is alright, lol. Again didn’t get any writing done, but I will sooner than later.

Today’s update focuses on Web Building Tools, specifically the W3Schools.com website. Take a look at the Social Media section to learn more about their free tutorials, certification exams and development tools.

Don’t forget to check out the Entertainment Media Movies & TV Shows section for links to trailers and TV spots for 9 releasing tomorrow nationwide. Should be a quality movie “that’s definitely not your little brother’s animated movie”.

Tampa Vacation

Headed to Tampa tonight for a much needed week long vacation. Gonna clear my head, read a few books and write a few chapters for SEA: Hunter’s Moon. Probably won’t be updating much ohere, but I will be posting about District 9 and probably in the Dr. Nurse section.

Oh and will definitely be having fun on Sunday for the 25th Birthday!!!

Another Hump day come and gone.

2 more days until I’m off to Tampa for a week and 4 more until my 25th bday!!!

Check out a few articles in the Social Media section touching on iPhone Annonyances, Smartphones, Windows 7 and Facebook Lite.

Then take a peek at Legion, an upcoming “end of days” movie focusing on God’s lost faith in mankind and His deployment of angels to rid the world of His creations, in the Entertainment Media: Movies & TV Shows section.

While your still in the Entertainment Media, add my friend Vincent Gallegos‘ Lifestream blog, which utilizes Posterous simple blogging tool, and follow him on Twitter to learn more about some local DC art, design and technology.

Lastly, read about a supermarket crisis taking place in Detroit. “Hunger hits Detroit’s middle class” spotlights Motown’s struggle to provide reasonable and healthy food without a major supermarket brand in the city, forcing suppliers to hire armorered guards to protect them while they drop off food to corner stores. Others are becoming “urban farmers” and finding alternatives to make it through the difficult times.

Further Update on Twitter/Facebook Outage

So just a new update for folks about the Thursday attack that caused the outage for Twitter and Facebook. Basically, one focused attack at a single blogger, related to political disputes between Georgia (the country, not state) and Russia caused the whole thing.

Twitter and Facebook Outages Update

For all of my visitors who are curious about today’s service outage for both Twitter and Facebook, read more about it in the Social Media section. For all those out there that sent complaints or wrote on your statuses about how upset you were with Facebook (myself included), please understand that the attack came from a hacker. This was not an internal issue, but a malicious attack by external parties that both Facebook and Twitter did a great job at resolving in a quick manner.

Sorry for the absence, but it was a busy week at work and outside of the office. Hopefully there will be tons of good news upcoming. It’s finally my birth month and I will be 25 in 14 days. Watchmen

Literally spent the night watching Watchmen: Director’s Cut. Longest movie I’ve ever sat down and watched. Definitely recommend taking a look at it and reading the graphic novel. My Tech Tuesday update will come on Wednesday.
